Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy describes information processed through the AccessRA Android application and its connected AccessRA services. AccessRA provides instrumentation tools, pressure-gauge calibration workflows, records, technical references and Academy learning features.

2. Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, information may include account identifiers (such as username and email), authentication information, calibration readings and results, instrument tags and serial numbers, company/site details, reference equipment, adjustments, notes, support messages and gauge or equipment photographs. Do not enter third-party or client information unless authorized.

3. Offline storage

Supported field tools and calibration workflows operate offline. Calibration records, unfinished work and associated photos can be stored on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage may remove local information not otherwise backed up. Device-level backup behavior depends on your Android settings.

4. Optional account and remote services

Supported offline features do not require an account. Signing in allows authenticated remote features, including supported Academy content and calibration-record synchronization. AccessRA communicates with its configured service at accessra.com. Authentication tokens are stored using device secure-storage facilities.

5. Calibration synchronization

When signed in, eligible calibration records may synchronize automatically or on request. The data transmitted can include instrument identification, company/site metadata, calibration readings and results, notes, revision identifiers and synchronization/conflict status. Unsynchronized changes can remain queued on the device. Current calibration-record synchronization does not include gauge photograph files. Deleting a local copy or uninstalling the app does not necessarily delete a previously synchronized server copy.

6. Camera and on-device processing

Camera access supports optional gauge and equipment photographs. The app may perform on-device text recognition to assist with identification. Recognition is not an authoritative measurement: technicians enter calibration readings, and photos do not determine PASS/FAIL.

7. Purpose and disclosure

Information is processed to deliver field tools, maintain calibration records, authenticate accounts, synchronize eligible records, provide Academy services, respond to support enquiries and maintain service security. AccessRA does not sell calibration records or personal information to advertisers. Information may be processed by necessary infrastructure or service providers or disclosed where legally required.

8. Third-party components

The Android app uses platform and software components for secure storage, local databases, camera access, PDF generation and on-device text recognition. The supplied V1 Flutter dependency configuration does not declare Google AdMob or Firebase Analytics. This statement will be revised if those services are introduced.

9. Security and retention

AccessRA uses HTTPS for configured remote API communication and secure device storage for authentication tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security. Local data remains until removed through available controls, application storage clearing or uninstallation, subject to device backup behavior. Server-side retention, backup and deletion are subject to the applicable operational and legal requirements; contact AccessRA for details.

10. Your choices and deletion

You may use supported offline features without signing in, delete supported local records, or request assistance with account and server-held information. Uninstalling the app does not itself delete server-held data. See AccessRA data-deletion instructions or email handbook@accessra.com. Requests may require account verification and may be subject to legitimate retention requirements.

11. Children

AccessRA is intended for instrumentation and engineering training and professional use; it is not designed specifically for children.

12. Policy changes and notices

We may revise this policy when app features or data practices change. The current policy will remain available at this URL. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other available contact channels. A website policy update does not itself change installed app functionality or permissions.
